25th Anniversary

Pinetree’s 25th Anniversary was the most interesting event that I participated in. This is because it wasn’t only the student community that attended, but also past alumni and staff who were adults. As a result, I had to present new leadership qualities such as being more professional when speaking to these adults. My job for this event was managing the yearbooks present in upper A. From this, I decided to linger nearby instead of directly standing in front of the yearbooks as that can be quite uncomfortable in the eyes of the guests. By lingering, I was able to help at other stations such as the snack station. With this, I made sure to clean up any mess present at the table as well as organize it so it looks better. In addition to this, I also had to run up and down the stairs to refill the drinks section. Ultimately, I found this event very exciting as it opened my perspective about Pinetree because I realized how different the school community must have been for people that attended years prior. In a way it made me reflect on my own experiences, and on where I would be after I graduate.
