  • Less chance of trespassers (isolated) 
  • Nile waterway was used for business/transportation 
  • Did not expand civilization 
  • Geography consisted of dunes and deserts 
  • Did not have any higher grounds to further protect themselves 
  • Land consisted of acacia, tamarisk, papyrus

  • Believed in many gods 
  • Large buildings 
  • Similar climate
