Hi, I’m Kaia. I love volleyball, animals, hanging with family/friends and spending time alone on either my laptop, phone or colouring. “Every exit is an entry way somewhere else. – Tom Stoppard” this is a quote that I often refer to. Why? because it motivates me. I realize that when I’m in a tough situation I can always get out of it by taking another step. Like hypothetically walking out of my past into the future. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m8hD5M1hGK0 I choose this video because from 0.01 – 0.06 the girl with the jersey number 16 spikes the volleyball down to the court floor where no one reaches it and she got that point. In that moment I got a flashback to when I was at a volleyball tournament and I spiked it so fast and nobody saw it coming. It filled me with joy and my teammates, parents and coaches were all so proud of me. I was so thrilled and filled with excitement that I won that point for myself and them! I can relate to how she is feeling because I know she was so happy in that moment when she got the point for herself and her team. 
I chose this photo due to how I’m drawn to the water. ever since I was little I’ve always loved to be in or even around the water.
