This picture is one of my essay for ESL class. I am proud of my work a lot. There are various reasons why I chose this essay as my best work. Last year, I came to Canada as an international student. When I arrived Canada, I did not know well about English grammar and expressions than present. My writing ability and speaking ability were bad too. However, these days, I keep developing my-self by taking ESL English classes and meeting friends who speak English.
This essay is an essay written for the purpose of organizing the meaning of literary devices which were learned in ESL class, I needed to write 20 sentences about 20 kinds of devices. During writing this essay, I got troubles that I could not understand teacher’s explanation because I were not good at listening, and I could not understand perfectly about the devices. There were many difficulties. However, this makes me feel more proud about this work.
The reason why I decided this essay is to celebrate my developments and efforts. I know, I am not perfect English speakers until now. However, when I showed this essay to my parents, they were very proud of me and told me to keep trying to do my best for learning English. This essay gave me motivation me to study English.
