Hello! 👋  My name is Sabrina, but many call me Sab. I’m an easy-going person who can be awkward and quiet at times and energetic the next. I prefer to be the listener during conversations which make me the best person to come to when a friend feels the need to share what’s on their mind, but I admit that I’m not the best comforting people. Nevertheless, I always try to create a welcoming environment for others and include them with the best of my ability! Recently, anime has been taking over my daily routine; I watch a few episodes and talk about shows with my friends on a daily basis. Although I haven’t watched as many shows compared to others, The Promised Neverland, Attack on Titan and Bungou Stray Dogs would be the ones I’d recommend new watchers. I would include Hunter x Hunter, but the chimera ant arc was a disaster–too slow and burdensome. When I’m not watching anime–or on any other social medias–I like to go outside and ride my bike or play volleyball with my friends, but due to the pandemic, I’ve found new interests like baking, art, and creating videos. I mainly bake pastries because my family rarely buys any when grocery shopping, and I like to paint and draw semi-realistic pictures of scenery’s or people. However, I enjoy editing videos the most, even though it’s time consuming. The videos I create either have a youtube vlog or instagram fan edit style; I prefer the Instagram style as I don’t have to make my own footage, come up with ideas, and can be more creative with it. I’m not one to have many goals in life, I just follow the flow and decide as I go on. The only goal that have stuck with me since I was young was to decide on a good job that I will pursue on passionately, which has been quite difficult; I’m very indecisive and boring when it comes to goals. Nevertheless, I hope you got to know me a little more than before!

“Sometimes you will never know the value of a moment until it becomes a memory.” -Dr. Seuss

This quote describes the haunting fear I have in life. Not only has it happened on multiple occasion where I would ruin what could have been a wonderful moment, but the memory would come to my mind at times and make me disappointed with my past-self. For example, it could be a trip to Disney World or hanging out with friends. This simple quote has an extremely strong influence on me because I’m someone who likes to hold onto things and all the moments where I didn’t care much for during that time, makes me more careful with my future actions or behaviour.

This is my favourite video because it brings me back to when my childhood. When I was young, this video had showed up on my recommendation page on Youtube and introduced an interest that I didn’t know I had. The video led to me becoming very invested in these miniature toys called Re Ments–and my love for tiny food in general. I ended up watching all the videos from this creator and even learned how to make my own version of the Re Ments using air-dry clay. This video would pop up in my mind every now and then and remind me of that wonderful phase in my childhood. Additionally, I chose this video specifically because it was the very first Re Ment video I’ve ever watched.

This was my dog Teddy. He was a young (8 weeks old), adorable and comical pug who was very active and wanted to explore the world! He joined the family in early August during the pandemic to bring some fun in our dull lives. We hoped we could document his journey and watch him grow. Unfortunately, we had to put him down due to some medical issues–after having him for only 2 weeks too. 🙁 I chose this picture not only to honour Teddy, but also because he was very cute and my job is to show everyone–mainly those who don’t like pugs–how adorable they can be!

This is a website that I care about a lot because it’s my family’s cafe and in the past I never thought much good about it because of all the challenges we had. So, I never believed that my family’s passion would be successful. However, I have grown from that bitter mindset and now hope that the business would prosper so that my family could live a more comfortable life. Therefore, I chose this website because it reminds me of my family, their commitment for the passion, and happiness is the most important factor to me and the experiences and life lessons I’ve gained from this cafe will stick with me forever.
