- Do you think you demonstrated your best work and behavior in this course?\
This was an amazing class; I learned many things and about nature through it. I don’t think I demonstrated the best of my abilities and what I am capable of doing in terms of this class. I could have paid much more attention when the teacher is speaking, and I could have used some work for not getting carried away by a friend or a phone.
- What unit did you most enjoy? Why?
The unit that I enjoyed most through this whole class was the ancient greece unit. The reason I choose this unit is because I really like these many greek gods that we talked about and did projects on. I think I learned a lot about them and also found it really appealing. A couple thigs that was interesting was that The Greek gods and goddesses had human qualities, but they had many more powers than mortals; for example, they would live forever.
- What class activities or assignments helped you learn the most?
I learned a lot from one of the very first projects if not I believe it was the very first one we did. This project was created by me and one of my good friends mani. Itr is called the seven wonders of the world. We got to choose 7 wonders on earth and do research in them and I just found that quite fascinating on how all these places are real and people have actually bean there. For example I learned a lot I didn’t know. The great pyramid of Giza, which is a wonder of the world, was created by limestone, granite and basalt.
- Reflect on your thinking, learning and work for this course. What are you most proud of?
In this course, I am proud of how I turned around my habits from the first half compared to the last half. I say I am proud of the second half more than the first because in the first half I slacked off a lot in terms of handing in assignments, taking notes, and just paying attention in general. I started handing in everything after the first half and completely turned it around and I am proud of that.
- What would you do differently if you could do this course over again?
If I were to retake this class I feel like I can do much better than I am doing right now and I would also tweak up a few things on my work habits. First, I would hand in every assignment on the due date and no later than. Another thing is just stay in the moment in class tend to doze off or not focus on class, but I need to start focusing on class and doing my work in my class rime rather than saying I will get it done at home.
- What real connections from this course can you bring with you, moving forward, in your life or to other courses?
I can make many connections from this course and to my real life. The first thing that I can connect with moving forward is how my teacher is strict on phones, but I totally understand why. She is trying to help the students get their stuff done, also, eventually, it is healthier. It gets addicted and you will not just not be able to do good in school. Your life will also get harder.
