1. Our text deviates from connections of written English because when we recorded our work, we had to think of things straight from the top of our heads. That requires us to be much more creative and really use our brains in many ways. As if we were to write this text down on a planning sheet then record it. It would make things much easier for us. That is the main difference between mine and written English.
2. In the text, we mentioned a lot of positive things about the school we spoke about well and recorded professionally. The incorrect grammar is wrong and the recording did not get some of the words that I truly said. However, it was right that it got the overall message I was conveying (about school).
3. One common mistake that we made was not taking the recording as serious as we should have. There was a bit of giggling and laughing while we were recording. We also were a little not repetitive with the points we were making and things we were saying.
4. If we have had this story scripted before we recorded it. The first main difference that would change is it would be more professional with proper grammar. Therefore, there would not be many slang worsd that I orally said, and there would not be many contracted words. There were a lot of run on sentences and if I had scripted it, there would have been more punctuation. This would help the reader understand better what I am saying.
5. Oral storytelling is on the spot, and you must be quick with the thoughts. Written storytelling gives you time to think and reflect on what things you would like to include in your final copy.
