Talent Show (December 22nd)

On the last day before winter break, leadership ran a talent show, with many amazing performances from Pinetree students.

On the security team, we were in charge of traffic control, ensuring appropriate audience behaviour, and keeping the number of people in the cafeteria and mezzanine manageable.

Parent Teacher Night (November 30th)

Leadership helped run Parent-Teacher night, where parents came in for scheduled meetings with their child’s teachers.

For this event, Tyler and I were the point people, managing and coordinating the Parent-Teacher night team. Students helped make a bulletin board, manage parking, assist parents, and more.

Halloween Spirit Day (October 31st)

Winter Formal (December 14th)

Winter Formal was run by both student council and leadership for the graduating class of 2024. It was an amazing event with a DJ, food rooms, karaoke, photos, and more.

Leyli, Meghan, and I were running the “fancy food room,” which served 3 rounds of pizza and sushi.

Remembrance Day Assembly (November 9th)

Leadership helped run 2023’s Remembrance Day assembly, assisting with set up, take down, and security. We made sure the event ran on schedule, students were organized in their seats, and oversaw any misbehavior.

Spirit Assembly MC (September 20th)

Leadership hosted Pinetree’s first spirit assembly in years, including relay’s between grades 9/10, 10/11, as well as some competition between students and staff.

I was an MC along with two other amazing leadership students, tasked to speak to the school and keep them engaged in the event.
