About Me

I like to do judo and wrestling, read, deadlift, and sleep. In the future, I am interested in getting a profession in the STEM fields because I have interests in it (plus I’m actually good at it which helps). Generally most of my time is spent procrastinating from doing homework by watching YouTube videos, but sometimes I’ll be productive in spurts.

Here’s a quote that I really like:

“Concentrated power is not rendered harmless by the good intentions of those who create it.”

-Milton Friedman

I like this quote because it explains very elegantly that sometimes one can try and cause change through good or bad intentions, but what their intentions are doesn’t matter but the actual act itself.

Now here’s one of my favorite videos:

The reason I like this video so much despite not being much of a Louis C.K. fan (I’m more of a Norm Macdonald guy) is how hilariously he gets through the message that life may suck, but if you live in Canada, you’re probably still able to live a more convenient life than most people just a couple decades ago.

Here’s a picture that I like:

This is a picture of Darwin from a show called, “The Amazing World of Gumball”. The reason I chose this is because this KIDS show basically made up my childhood and this picture embodies a lot of what goes on in the show, a kids show that takes the most obscure routes imaginable.

Now here’s a website I visit very often:

https://www.bloomberg.com/opinion/authors/AR3OYuAmvcU/noah-smith

It’s articles from an economist named Noah Smith. He’s generally very centered about most matters, shows a high understanding of nuance, and most importantly is greatly respected by main-stream economists (except maybe Scott Sumner).
