My plan for screen time
My goals
Health: My health plan to is in a week I will take 3 – 5 hrs. altogether to focus on my health. For example, I dance 3 times a week and I get exercise from that and sometimes on Saturdays I go on hikes. Also, I will try to eat healthier and avoid lots of junk almost everyday
Education: My education plan is inn a week I will take about 5 hrs. out of school to focus on my education. For example, most days it will be put towards homework, studying or working on projects but the other days I will take some time to just review my subjects.
Social bonds: My plan for my social bonds is in a week I will put about 3-5 hrs. into my social bonds out of school. Whether hanging out with friends, meeting new people or studying/doing homework with friends.
Stopping Goals
School : At school some stopping rules I will be using to not overuse my electronics in class is to keep my phone out of my reach like in my backpack or even my locker to not get distracted from what we are learning. Another stopping cue I will be using is too silent my phone, put it on airplane mode or even fully shut it off so I don’t get distracted by a notification.
Home: At home a stopping rule I will be using to not overuse my electronics is to set a timer when my screen time is up so it can let me know to move on to something productive. Another stopping rule at home is to have a list of fun things to do to pass the time like reading or doing art or even have a list of things you need to get done so you don’t procrastinate. I can also put away my electronics on another level at least an hour before bed and charge my stuff somewhere else to not get distracted. I will also not have any electronics at any meals.
