My First Vision Board

For my vision board I decided to include various pictures that represented each area of my life that I would like to focus on and improve. My education goal is to continue getting good grades and doing well on tests as well as homework. Education has always been something important to me, and I want to be able to look back on my highschool years and be proud of the work I have done. A wealth goal for me is to continue working my part time job, and pickup shifts whenever I can, so that I am able to save up money to go to Greece in my gap year with my mom, or by myself. It has been a lifelong dream for me, and I am excited to visit the beaches and try all the food. A relationship’s goal for me is to continue to cultivate my relationships especially with friends and family and make a lot of memories with them especially in the summer. I want to go on picnics with my friends, make dinner with my family, and do things like visiting beaches and parks I haven’t gone to before. I dont want to spend the years I have left indoors doing nothing. A health goal for me is to continue frequenting the gym on a weekly basis because I know it’s good for you to move your body, as well as continuing to stretch afterwards. Finally, my personal happiness goal is to continue focusing on my hobbies like acting, singing and playing the guitar. I am always happier when I do those things and am able to channel my creativity. 

Reflection 1- My Goals for This Year

Family and Friends 

  1. I would like to help out my family at home more often, and do things like make dinner, set the table, and do laundry without being asked.
  2. I would like to do more activities with my family at least 2 times a week, such as going to the park, having movie nights, and playing cards.
  3. I would like to become a better friend and peer by saying kind things to people, looking them in the eye, and being there for my friends if they need me.

Education 

  1. I would like to do my homework every day, the day it is assigned, and not have homework on the weekend.
  2. I would like to try to extend whenever possible in every single subject. That means picking up extra assignments and study more at home if I am not too strong in a certain subject.
  3. I would like to pay more attention to the instructions, and try to the work by myself first, and then ask questions.

Health 

  1. I would like to do at least one hour of physical activity per day. I can walk to, and from school, and I can do some form of strength training when I get home.
  2. I would like to have a more balanced diet with fruits vegies, and whole meals, and have processed/junk foods 2-3 times a week.
  3. I would like to stretch every single day for 10 minutes so I can easily touch my toes, and not get any injuries when I exercise.

Hi my name is Catarina, and this is my blog!

I have a few hobbies and activities that I like to do in my free time, such as sports and Art related things. My favorite sport is volleyball, and although I am not the most athletic person, I do enjoy playing it and occasionally watching it on tv. I also enjoy participating in musicals, acting, and singing.

My goals for the future consists on having my dream job related to the arts, and having my own house with lots of sunlight and big windows.
