I like this quote, why do I like it? (Because it was one of the first quotes I saw when I searched up for quotes.) I like this quote because it means if you want to achieve your goal or happiness(the rainbow), you have to make mistakes and have hard times(the rain). It reminds me to never give up, and to always keep trying (like me saying I’ll learn how to play guitar, and leave it for a few months before trying again.
I chose this video because I love old timey rubber hose animation styles. It brings me joy seeing all the separately hand drawn frames of animation come to life. I also chose this video because it is one of my favourite songs. The song expresses the pain of a lost love, and talks about how one wants to be loved once again by another. At the end of the song there is reversed message saying, “Wouldn’t the world be better if we took nonsense more seriously.” This message is a reminder that gleeful and moments of joy can be lost and gone if not valued. (This song also makes me happy :D)
