Reflection 1 – My Goals For This Year
Family and Friends
1.) I would like to organize a get-together, such as a potluck or picnic, with both family and friends, aiming for two times per month, so that we can all connect and understand one another by grade 10.
2.) I would like to plan fun days with my family and friends such as game and movie nights, shopping, baking, and hiking four times a month so that I can stay connected with them and build a strong bond by grade 10.
3.) I will offer emotional support to my family and friends by checking in on people once a week for 15-30 minutes because I want to ensure everyone feels heard, loved, and valued by grade 10.
Education
1.) I will manage my time by creating a daily time management plan, prioritizing schoolwork, limiting my use of social media, and scheduling time for personal activities and hobbies so that I can maximize my productivity and minimize distractions by grade 10.
2.) I will divide my study sessions up into a 30-minutes focused intervals with a 5 minute break in between, ensuring I work without electronic devices, so I can improve my concentration and develop better study habits by grade 10.
3.) I will set aside 15-30 minutes every night before bed to read a book, story, or any material of interest, aiming to read at least one book every month, so that I can make reading a regular habit and strengthen my knowledge and vocabulary by grade 10.
Health
1.) I will aim to get 8 hours of sleep every night by creating a calm bedtime routine that includes reading or listening to music, avoiding electronics 30 minutes before bed, and aiming to be in bed by 11:00 PM each night, so I always feel focused and energized.
2.) I will commit to exercising for at least 30 minutes, 4 times a week, including both cardio and strength training, so that I can stay fit, strong, and healthy by grade 10.
3.) I will limit my consumption of sugary and salty snacks and replace them with healthy snacks such as fruits, veggies, and smoothies so that I can maintain a steady energy level, decrease cravings, and stay balanced by grade 10.
