Reflection 1 – My Goals for This Year

  1. Family and Friends
  • In the first three weeks, I would like to have memorized all of my classmate’s names in all my classes so that I know which people are in my classes.
  • I would like to video call my father and grandparents two times a week, every week, so that I can update them about how I’m doing and hear from them too.
  • By the end of the semester, I would have liked to talked to all of the classmates in my class so that I am familiar with them.

2. Education

  • I’d like to get to school at 8:55am all semester so that I don’t get any marks off for being late or not attending.
  • I would like to create a scheduler on MS Word updating it daily so that I can be on top of my work for the whole year.
  • For the Math Honors course, I would like to finish the homework every day in the semester as soon as I get home when I have time.

3. Health

  • I would like to run 10 minutes 2 times a week so that by the end of the year, I’ll be able to do a 100m run in less than 15 seconds.
  • I’d like to go the the pool once a week and swim at least 5 laps so that I can swim faster by the end of the year (I don’t know my specific time yet, so I’ll check the next time I go).
  • One time a week, other than classes (two times a week), I would like to practice my taekwondo skills that by the end of the semester, I would have mastered the requirements for the second degree black belt.
  • Three times a week before I sleep, I hope to do the 6-minute eye method so that by the end of the year, my eyesight will have improved to 0.5 each eye.
