For the Spirit Assembly, I signed up to be the point person to plan and execute the event with fun games and activities to engage students. With my team members, I brainstormed and experimented with different game ideas and made decisions that satisfied everyone on the team. I also drew out maps to help everyone understand the event better and made sure to keep in touch by posting updates and instructions on Teams. On the day of the event, we set up the game stations and I distributed work for everyone to increase efficiency as well. I repeated instructions to everyone multiple times, and with this thorough planning, the station team was able to come together and execute the event successfully. From this event, I got to handle big responsibilities with a team, and I learned to become a better leader by enhancing time management, teamwork, efficiency, communication and event planning.
