Comparison

From the beginning of the entire leadership program to now, there is no doubt that I have become an entirely new person. In the first year, I was always nervous and avoidant of initiating something and stepping in first to resolve a problem. Staying in my comfort zone, I could never possibly imagine becoming a leader, but throughout the course, I slowly began to become more comfortable and developed a passion for actively contributing to different activities. In my second year, I was able to fully come out of my shell and became the point person for the Spirit Assembly. It was truly a life-changing experience as I could go from a shy and closed-off member to an ambitious leader. I look forward to helping my peers gain confidence in themselves and become comfortable in leadership roles for the rest of the course as well.
