Bingo
For Bingo, I helped spread the word around the school, handing out the bingo sheets and cleaning up the library after the event. It was fun to see everyone so invested in bingo to win prizes.
Golf Tournament Volunteer
This was my favourite event of all in this semester because I had never been to such a big golf course before. It was fun to ride the golf cart and watch people shoot their shots. We helped with watching out for a hole-in-one shot for people to win prizes.
April roster
For this event, I guided everyone to the gym while marketing the venues and prizes as well. In the end, I also helped with the clean-up and organizing raffle tickets.
photo day
For photo day, I helped escort and guide students to take their pictures and went around the school again to call down the ones who missed the announcement individually.
Grade 9 Immunization
I don’t have pictures for this event but I helped set up the tables, chairs and mats and also helped escort the grade 9’s after their immunization.
Valentine’s day
Valentine’s Day was probably my favourite event of this semester. I helped out with selling, packaging and delivering notes and sweets, as well as putting up decorations around the foyer. My favourite part was wrapping the candies in little bouquets.
Pink Shirt Day
I remember having a lot of fun seeing everyone wearing pink in the hallway and it brought me more joy than I expected because so many people cared enough to wear pink tops for this day.
Talent Show
As a member of the Marketing and Promotion team, I contributed by making several posters for Instagram posts on Canva and putting them up around the school. For Spirit Week, I actively participated in the event by dressing up in pyjamas, jerseys, Santa’s spy and a Christmas theme. I believe this event was successful because many students were engaged and dressed according to the spirit week.
