Reflection 1 – My goals for this year
Family and Friends 👨â€ðŸ‘©â€ðŸ‘§Â
My first goal out of the 3 for friends and family are number one I would like to participate in activities my family is doing instead of shutting them down and rejecting their offer, for example if they ask me to come join them a nice family walk around downtown, Robson street, instead of declining them I will accept their offer and join them. Walking around downtown with them is a great health benefit since I am getting my steps in and hopefully make some memories. My second goal is hanging out with my friends more and creating a stronger relationship bond. The hangouts can look like going to the mall, watching movies, and even just having a nice walk around each other’s neighborhoods. My last and final goal for friends and family is spending time with both at once, like for example my family and my friends family could all go on a road trip and create the quadruple number of memories at once and make up inside jokes along the way. My favorite has to be the last goal because I personally love spending time with my family and my friend’s family all at once because it makes me feel like my family is having a fun time with my friend’s family and we can all experience each other’s emotions and feelings and just have fun!Â

Education 📚Â
My first out of 3 goals for education is reading, I personally think I should start reading more and just take time before bed and just do 30 minutes of reading which I know has a huge benefit for my education and just my mental health in general. My second goal is building good study habits, things I can do to improve is eliminate distractions, finding different study environments (cafe, library, with friends, etc.) and trying to find ways to glamorize studying like using cute pens, light a candle etc. The last and final thing for education is try and accomplish projects ahead of time and not wait till the last minute and stay up the night before trying to finish.Â

Health 🤸ðŸ»â€â™€ï¸Â
My first goal for health is getting 10,000 steps everyday which I know is possible because I have been creating a new habit of going on the treadmill for over 30 minutes a day which is 4,000 steps and in general at school, I get around 3,500 steps. The total of that is actually 7,500 but I go on daily walks with my dad so usually around the time I go to bed I have 10,000 steps in. My second goal is improving my diet which is eating more healthy foods, and not worrying about calories as much as I used to and eating that chocolate bar that is always at the end of my mind. My last goal is going to the gym 3x a week, which I already do, but I want to stay consistent since I go 2x a week with my trainer and once with my mom.Â
