“Persist and prevail” Is a quote I consider relatively important because of the satisfaction that comes from completing a difficult task after some persistence. There really isn’t much else to why I enjoy it.
This video documents a man sailing from California to Hawaii on a small sailboat. I enjoy watching the optimism he displays over the multiple days alone at sea, surrounded by nothing but open water. I admire the sheer willpower required to maintain his morale, making the best out of little things like finding a naming a small seabird, and making meals out of the flying fish that get land on deck.
This image reminds me of the freedom that sailing brings me. Admittedly, my sailing craft is homemade, and much less advanced than the ones depicted here. In any case, the feeling is similar.
Unity is a program I use frequently for game creation and passion projects. It is versatile, includes a built-in coding system, an editor, and animator, as well as various other useful features. I would strongly recommend it to anyone interested in games.
