My First Vision Board

My First Vision Board

This collage represents my next three years in high school, including my goals, talents, and enjoyments. The images about exercising and healthy foods represent my goals of health, how I want to play volleyball more and get better, while also eating healthier and improving my diet. I wish to study art more and improve my drawing, shown through the pictures of painting and digital art. I would like to get good grades in these classes, will is shown by the image of an A+ surrounded by art supplies. I would like to pursue art because I would like to have a job relating to drawing in the future, such as a concept artist or animator. To reach this goal, I will aim to go to SFU. The images with people in them symbolize the friendships that I want to keep and the new ones that I want to make, as well as the things I want to do with my friends. The video of my friends dancing represents the relationships I want to keep and the fun that I want to have with people. The images regarding the games and art also show my interests and hobbies, as well as my skills and what I do in my free time. In my free time, I like to play games and draw to socialize with friends over the internet or develop my skills.

Reflection 1-My Goals For This Year

My goals for family and friends is to make two friends in each class this year. I will learn their names, get along with them and try to help them as much as possible. I will complete this goal by the end of the month. Because I am now in grade 9 and separated from my previously existing friends, it is important that I find people who can make me feel comfortable.

My goal for family and friends this semester is to remember everyone’s names in half of the classes I have. By getting to know everyone better, I will have progressed in certain skills such as communication and social responsibility. Becoming friends with everyone has many benefits. For example, if I have friends, we can support each other in times of need, or help each other when one is feeling negative. By making knowing everyone’s names, there is more of a sense of belonging and getting closer to becoming friends. If I can name all of the people in half of my classes, I will have completed my goal.

At the end of the year, I would like to get along with or be passive with everyone in all of my classes. I will befriend all of the people in every class I had from both the first and second semester. If I can name everyone and speak with them comfortably by the end of the year, I will have completed my goal.

This month, I would like to be able to turn in every assignment on time with the highest grade of quality I could as my education goal. I will put in my best effort and try to create the best result possible. If I cannot do this, I will try again in the second semester. To complete this goal, I will hand in all of my work by the assigned due date.

I will as get 83% or higher in half of my classes my education goal as my goal for the semester. If I can get a B in two of my classes by the end of the first semester, I will have completed my goal.

My education goal for this year is to pass every class with a grade higher than 73%. I will try to get a grade better than a C in all of my classes. I will know if I succeed in finishing my goal if I get grades higher than a C on all of my report cards.  If I succeed in this goal by the end of the semester, then I will set a new goal and aim higher. In contrast, if I do not pass every class with a grade higher than 73% by the end of the semester, I will continue this goal in the second semester.

My health goal for this month is to become more active. I will be active for at least 1 hour and thirty minutes a week so that I am able to run 10 kilometers in 20 minutes.

The health goal that I have set for myself this semester is to try my best in physical education to stay active and healthy. I will put in the best possible effort I can each day to ensure that I progress in ability and skill. To recognize that I have reached this goal, I will try to get a B in PE at the end of the semester. If I do not get more than 83% in physical education by the end of the semester, I will not have passed my goal.

For my health goal this year, I will work hard to and be active everyday for 1 hour so I can run a mile in 10 minutes by the end of grade 9.
