Reflection 1 – My Goals for This Year

  1. I plan on talking with new people through my different blocks with classes by trying to get to know new people. Trying to get to know people and knowing more people is much more helpful in your future as loneliness isn’t an issue.
    1. I will try and hang out with new friends during breaks instead if staying with the same people all the time, as it helps me seek new friendships. Friendships helps you stay engaged, instead of being alone or looking like somebody who is always alone.
    2. My goal is to try and spend time with my family. Lately, I have been busy with tests, and homework, but during weekends whenever I have the time, I will try and do something at home with all my family members OR go outside for a walk, biking, etc. This will help me and my family get closer, instead of getting further apart.
  2. I plan on focusing very hard and getting good marks by finishing my homework right after school and not procrastinating on doing it. Doing work well is a habit everybody should strive for as it helps in college and university.
    1. I will try and work together with teachers if I have questions with homework or tests. This will let me learn more and be less afraid to ask questions during class.
    2. I will always try my best to be active in class and a good listener. Listening well helps you learn better, giving you a better chance of getting a good mark.
  3. I will be more active by participating well in gym. Physical health is important and being  too lazy is a bad thing! Having a good physical health can help you get mentally better and just feel good. Often, exercising can help you calm down from stress.
    1.  I will try and be more active outside during the weekends by going outside to parks with friends. This encourages me to be more active as my friends (if they are good friends) will help me achieve this goal.
    2. My goal is to try and get a good amount of sleep every night, as most “teenagers” nowadays lack the sleep they need, which can make them very tired and sometimes, sleep deprivation can cause minimal focus, and hallucinations. This is unhealthy for the brain, and I am looking for at least 8-9 hours of sleep every day.  Sleeping early can also help you grow, which is important in our age.
