1. Sol- I am a student who is passionate about science. I have a lovely dog named Lamii, who is a dachshund. I would love to learn more about Pinetree Secondary and be included in different extracurricular activities and clubs. I love to take my education further to the next level, and I like to challenge myself in different activities. I enjoy doing sports, playing my instruments, volunteering and reading books. My favourite sports are skiing, ice skating, volleyball, and tennis, and my favourite book is “The Adventure of the Huckleberry Finn” by Mark Twain. I am also willing to join leadership when I am in grade 10. Thus, I like to set goals, achieve them, and keep my motivation going. My future goal is to be a biologist or pathologist when I grow up.
2. ” Life’s only as bad as you make it out to be. it’s got nothing to do with the way it is.”
This quote was written by Nami Mun, a Korean writer. This quote is important to me because every time I have a bad day or devastating problems, I think of this quote, and my day gets better as I try to stay positive. This quote helped me to change my perspective on a problem and made me mature enough to deal with it in an innocuous way.

I chose this video of Barack Obama’s speech in 2004 because this video inspired me, and gave me motivation. I thought it was an excellent speech that you could ever hear in your life. This speech includes Obama’s past, how it had changed his perspective and act, and how it affected him to be standing in this place giving this speech. Thus, he has done an amazing job of persuading people with the fact that he’s an immigrant because America is a country made out of immigrants, just like Canada.

I chose this image of my dog, who I very much care about in my life. When I got my dog when I was in grade 5, I learned how to be responsible, lead someone, and take care of needs. My dog is a huge part of my life, because he is one of my family members, and my dog always gives me motivation to start something new when I want to challenge myself.
5. I have two websites I visit often which are Greenpeace International and United Nations. I use this website to read the news about what I am willing to learn about. These two websites are perfect ways to get information about what is happening around the world and help me find reliable resources about the environment, relationships between countries, and problems around the world such as war.
