Family and Friends Â
Goals 1: This particular goal has developed because of a disastrous relationship that I don’t want to repeat. I met a really nice guy who liked the same things as me such as playing the guitar and the band – Wave to Earth. Everything went great for a whole 2 weeks and then, on a random Tuesday, he sent a hurtful message telling me that I was too much for him. I didn’t understand, and this really hurt me, that he was discussing me in a negative way. This ruined our friendship, that hadn’t even begun yet. I should have told him right away how he hurt me and not made him guess why I was so upset. Therefore, my goal regarding friends is to tell my friends the moment they hurt me. Because this all happened online, it probably became overblown. I need to meet people face to face if there’s a problem. Important issues should be handled in person; if I follow this goal, I hope I will find, keep, and be a good friend.Â

 Goal2: I want to balance my life with family and friends, so that I am easier to be around as I learn better communication skills. I will practice being honest and polite, so that people know exactly how I’m feeling and don’t have to guess. I can practice with someone I trust and see if they like my new approach. I want to be able to be honest without hurting their feelings or getting angry. I will learn to look people in the eye when I talk to them, so that they know I am listening. This will be a great challenge for me to overcome.  i will practice with a trusted friend because I want it to feel comfortable. I need to work on my attitude towards myself, so that I feel whole, and not broken. My self-talk needs to be positive and friendly, so that I can become the best I can be, so that I can help others to become the best they can be.Â

Goal 3: I feel as if my friend and I are drifting apart. This problem is initiated by the fact that she doesn’t listen to both sides of a story before taking sides. She won’t share her achievements with me because she worries that I’ll be jealous. I feel like she doesn’t trust me to share her thoughts with. For example, I asked her what she wanted to be for Halloween, and she kept it secret. Then she went out without me. I feel like I need her too much and it’s a one-way relationship. My goal is to become more likeable to my friend and have our friendship on an equal footing.    Â

EducationÂ
Goal 1: I want to be a psychiatrist or a cardiologist and need to research and understand which classes I must take and exceed in. I need to get good grades in biology and spend 14 years studying towards my goal. I have to always strive for above average grades. I could watch medical movies, such as ER or the movie Sybil. In order to achieve this goal, I need to block out any negativity such as it will be too challenging. I have to gain self-respect and confidence to understand that I am as capable as the best doctor out there. I could volunteer at the Children’s Hospital to be around medicine, or at a Senior’s Home to work with people who have neurological issues, such as dementia and Alzheimer’s. I will study for more than 3 hours a day, without falling behind on my other subjects.Â
Goal 2: I want to listen more attentively in class, answer with longer texts, and speak up more in the classroom setting. I must concentrate harder and focus on the subject, so that my mind does not wander. If I don’t understand something, I will speak up and ask the teacher to clarify it. I will learn to study more effectively, and use tools such as the library, movies, and medical  textbooks. I’ll participate more fully in our classroom discussions. I’ll make sure to listen respectfully to the teacher’s lectures and my classmates’ responses. I’ll make sure that my study space is neat and organized, so that I show my respect for my surroundings.Â
Goal 3: I would like to help a child understand about the workings of the human body. That way, I can learn all of the hard vocabulary in a fun way such as watching kids educational movies. I could go to an elementary school or find a kid in my neighborhood and volunteer with a child who wants to be a doctor when they grow up. We could watch educational videos about the heart and the brain and IÂ will learn because the child will ask me tough questions. So we will be learning from each other and it will be fun.Â
Health Â
Goal 1: I need to exercise until I reach a healthy weight and feel more energetic and feel better about myself.I’ll find something fun, like a work-out video and exercise along with it for 30 minutes a day. I’ll stay consistent and go for walks and runs around  my neighborhood in the fresh air .  I will join a sporty club such as gymnastics or volleyball. I will set weekly goals to help me develop good work-out habits. I would like to start by getting a fitness trainer, because I need a little tough motivation to keep me on track.Â

Goal 2: To reach my dream weight by eating mostly healthy food that is full of nutrients such as vitamins, protein and minerals.I will read nutrition books, watch videos on foods that your body needs to function, and I will no longer eat unhealthy food. I will persuade my family to only put healthy food in the fridge and cupboards.  I will start to snack on carrots, celery, tomatoes, cucumbers and apples instead of chips. Once a week, I’ll go shopping for organic vegetables, turkey, salmon and make a delicious, nutritious hot pot for me and my family so we can all become healthier together. I know that when I eat better food, My reward will be feeling much better. Then I can achieve my healthy weight and be more enthusiastic about life.Â

Goal 3: To stay hydrated
I’ll drink lots of water instead of  sugary sodas. I can make the water more interesting by making tea or having a green drink such a shake made with watermelon, strawberries, protein powder, spinach, Greek yogurt and cucumber- which is especially hydrating- and blueberries.  I will carry a water bottle with me everywhere I go, and drink lots of water throughout the day. I will add cucumbers and lemon to make the water taste more interesting and help flush out toxins and help me lose weight.
