About Me

My name is Adam, and I enjoy playing basketball and playing video games. I’ve been playing basketball for about 5 years now, and I have played for both my school team and the TCYBA (Tri-City Youth Basketball Association). I own an Xbox One, and I’ve had it for around a year now. I play games like Overwatch, Rainbow Six Seige, and For Honor. I like reading books as well, with my favourite series being, Ranger’s Apprentice. I think that the best from that series is the seventh book which is called Erak’s Ransom. It has a great level of action and the writing is great.

This is my favourite quote:

Image result for it's not what we have in life but who we have in your life that matters

This quote means a lot to me. It tells us that as long as we have our friends and family, we can make it through tough times, no matter if we have little to no belongings. Whenever I read it during a tough time, I know that I can count on my friends and family, and I can persevere through it with their support. I learn to appreciate what I have and who I have in my life, and not take them for granted.  I reflect on whether or not I have treated them properly and from there I learn how to improve.

This isn’t necessarily my favourite video, but it has made me laugh when I was sad or distraught. It cheered me up multiple times and it’s still funny to me even after watching it a lot. I enjoy watching comedians, with this guy, Daliso Chaponda, being one of the best I’ve seen. I also enjoy watching Preacher Lawson’s acts which are on America’s Got Talent.

This photo is one of my favourites. That’s because I took it myself, during a tour around a lake. The tour was about how we get clean drinking water. The quality isn’t great because my phone’s camera is kind of broken but I’m still happy with how it turned out.  When I look at this picture, I am reminded about how fortunate I am, and how many people in the world don’t have access to clean drinking water. It also reminds me of how my dad brought me over there, and how some kids don’t have that kind of opportunity to spend time with their parents.

https://www.youtube.com/

Even though this is a pretty simple website, this is the one I visit most often. I use it to watch playthroughs on games, documentaries, cooking, etc. I enjoy watching YouTube in my spare time and it can brighten me up on a sad day. It introduced me to the games that I wanted to play like For Honor and Rainbow Six Seige. It has introduced me to multiple channels and I can relate to some of them. I care about this website and I want it to stick around.
