Something I am proud of is my most recently finished artwork in Visual Arts 9.  The artwork was an inked silhouette on a colored background.  I started this project in mid-October.  I based my design off two wolves howling in front of a full moon, on a cliff.  The color I used was blue, and I used lots of white and black in order to get the tints and shades I needed. I used black and white for two of the cliffs to make it appear farther and used black ink for the middle cliff to make it look closer. What I like about this art project was the way the background and colors came out.

I faced many challenges in making this. My first artwork was wrecked when I pulled it out from the drying rack, because someone had jammed their artwork where mine was drying.  I had to make a completely new painting, however, this second picture had turned out better than my first design.  Another hard obstacle was mixing the right amount of blue with white or black.  It was frustrating trying to make the moon a very tinted blue, but in the end, I was able to get the right colors, shades, and tints.

If I made this project again in the future, I would add more details on the wolves and the cliffs and add more background things such as trees and bushes.
