Communication:
- I can share my ideas and try to connect them with others’ ideas.
- During business class, we were asked to create our own company which produces a product. I shared many ideas to my group and tried to combine good ideas together. In the end, we chose to make a sleeping device and named our company Sleepish.
- I can find information when I need or want it to present it clearly.
- During my socials class, we were asked to do research on an indigenous tribe and present it to the class. I used the internet as my source, and I got all the required information written. Me and my partner Willian presented all the information we wrote down clearly to the class.
Thinking:
- I can choose, make, change and practice my ideas.
- During English class, we were asked to pick 2 or more projects to do for our novel. I chose to make an alternative ending for the book and write a children’s book version. For the alternative ending, I had many ideas, and I had to change my ideas many times before I think it was good. In the end, I chose to have Rowdy, apologize to Junior and go to Reardan with him.
- I can ask questions and gather information.
- In my ICT class, we were asked to make a website about any topic we like, and make the website look as professional as possible. I chose to make a website about computers, and I asked many questions about how to use different codes that I wanted to implement to my website. Because I asked many questions, I was able to make my website look really nice, and I ended up getting a perfect mark on that project.
Personal and social
- I set goals and work towards reaching them.
- In business class, we were asked to set goals that we would want to meet this year. My goal was to have a better time management, since time management is really important, and it allows me to get my work done with less trouble.
Goal setting:
- Next year, I would want to continuing working on my time management. There were many times this year where I stayed up very late to do homework, which could have been avoided if I just had better time management. I always procrastinate on things I don’t like to do, and that’s something that I want to fix next year.
- I’ve learned to always remember what my homework is and when it is due. There are a few times where I forgot about my homework and only remembered it the night before it was due.
