In my digital learning class, we were assigned to demonstrate the use of the creative fluency step in past assignments. The assignment I chose to express these steps was to create a circuit and measure current in an experiment in my science class. In this project, we have to use a tool on a website which is tinyurl.com/y4d4uo91.

Materials:

2- 1.5 V Batteries

5-Connecting Wires

1-Light bulb board

1-Ammeter

2-Battery holders

Since we use the website to do experiments, we can ignore this aspect of battery holders.

Procedure:

  1. Collect supplies from the electricity cart at the front.
  2. Using one of the light bulbs, connect the circuit as shown in the circuit diagram below.
  3. Complete the circuit by connecting the last wire to the negative terminal of the battery (use this connection as your ‘switch’ for this experiment). Record the measurement from the ammeter your data table and observe and record the light bulb brightness (Very bright, bright, less bright).

4.Disconnect the negative terminal of battery from the circuit. Add a second light bulb to the circuit, making sure it is still all one pathway. Connect the wire to the negative terminal. Record the measurement from the ammeter and the brightness of the light bulbs.

  1. Repeat step number 4 for the third light bulb.
  2. Return all equipment to the proper location when you have completed the lab. Make sure it is all put away properly and neatly!

Inspire:

In most of the experiments this one is actually relatively easy, all you need to do is read the instructions and the steps. It’s worth reminding that most of our experiments on circuits are done on the website, and if you need to do the experiments privately please be careful.

Last:

You need to discuss with your classmates, for example: What is the purpose of the switch or control point in this circuit? And How did the light bulb brightness change when more bulbs were added to the circuit? Why do you think there was a change in brightness? Finally you need to check your experiment with the teacher.
