Grade and Work Habit
All my assignments have been handed in on time and I’ve shown up to every meeting and contributed to as many events as I could. I think my final grade should be at around a 90% for all the reasons listed above.
Comparisons & Final Report
I think I’ve generally gotten better at being a leader. At first I was unsure and constantly doubting myself. But now, I actually take initiative within events and have gotten more confident with speaking to others and taking on the leadership role. Moving forward I’d like to be a point person for an event and contribute more ideas towards future events.
Events Without Photo Evidence
Grade 9 orientation: Before the year formally started, a few leadership students came in and gave incoming grade 9’s a tour of the school and answered any questions they had.
Halloween: For this event, I helped set up decorations around the school, handed out candy to those in costumes, as well as helped with sound and backstage during the costume contest.
Winter Formal: I helped with set up and clean up, as well as handling food. During the night we constantly refilled the food rooms and made sure the food was heated.
Parent Teacher Interviews
I walked around the school and helped lost parents find their classrooms.
Gr 10 Day
Similarly to Grade 9 day, I helped hand out food to the students.
Orange Shirt Day
I wasn’t officially part of this group but I went to help make ribbons during lunch.
Terry Fox Run
Honestly we had no idea what we were doing. Before the run we helped set up tables other things. During the run we helped direct the runners as well as hand out drinks and snacks nearing the end of the run. When everyone was finished, we stayed behind and helped clean up.
I also helped with selling raffle tickets in the foyer.
Gr 9 Day
This was a relatively small event, I helped hand out drinks and chips to the grade 9’s and we all helped make sure it wasn’t too chaotic.
Meet The Teacher
During this event, we roamed around the halls of Pinetree guiding lost parents and helping them find the classrooms they needed to be in.
