/\-My Vision Board-/\

Hello, my name is Joshua.

I just wanted to talk about my vision board. My top 13 goals are: getting into UBC, becoming a lifeguard, getting a car, passing my future lifesaving courses, knowing all the basics of Python, accomplishing a skill in taekwondo, getting good grades, traveling to Korea and Japan, having a better diet, going to the gym frequently, being able to play video games every once in a while, learning all the advanced guitar skills, and lastly, buying the shoes I want. I want to accomplish at least 10 out of the 13 goals I have created. I wanted to add playing video games every once in a while because I wish not to be as busy as other seniors in our school. There are a few goals I may be able to accomplish right now, such as eating healthier, hitting the gym, and learning all the advanced guitar skills.

First of all, I want to be able to achieve and pass my NL course to become a lifeguard in grade 10. All my previous courses took me a long time to accomplish and pass, which made me more motivated to finish all the courses and become an official lifeguard. After successfully passing and getting the job, I would like to make enough money for future expenses, such as shoes. Additionally, I would like to learn all the basic coding skills for Python because coding is fun to do in spare time instead of sitting down and scrolling through Instagram for hours. This goes the same with learning all the advanced guitar skills. In my opinion, knowing how to play guitar is a fun and time-wasting activity; I wanted a somewhat normal hobby instead of sleeping in or playing video games. However, I do want to be able to accomplish a special skill in taekwondo so I can perform in future events (it looks cool).

Additionally, I want to travel to Korea and Japan after I graduate high school with my friends. This is one of the goals I really want to accomplish and use to relieve all the stress I may have to go through in my future years. While traveling, I want to be able to eat healthily and maintain my health conditions because I tend to go off and not stay fit and healthy, so I want to go to the gym frequently. However, as you can see, these goals are for my future years, which I will try to accomplish. After coming back from all my travels with my friends, I hope to get into UBC for future education, and to make this happen, I will try my best to get better grades and pursue all the education I need. Lastly, after graduation, I would like to get an official job to sustain my living and buy my parents a car for all the things they have been doing for the past 15 years of my life.
