This photo is of The Silhouette with Colour Backgroud project we were working on in Visual Arts 9. This was a test for the upcoming project. we did this project in early November 2020. we and other students belonging to the same class had to do this so we could find the correct colors for our palette that we were going to use. my goals in making this test run for the different colors I was going to use was to make it beautiful but elegant. Something that was light and would catch your attention. I tried using various other colors to see what they would like on my final project, it looked up to the mark.
it makes me proud because there was a lot of thought when making this. what colors to use, how to use them, etc, etc. in the end it turned out well.
the challenge I faced while working on this was the contrasting colors. the color red contrasts with the color black. that was a problem, you couldn’t make two colors too different.
the thing I’d do differently would be to use different colors to blend, plus the colors more saturated (the intensity) and to fine line some of the colors in the sketch drawing in the test examples.
