The project that I am currently working on right now is for my Woodwork 9 class. I am building a table for my room so it can hold my phone and such on it.
Identify:
I need wood and the knowledge of knowing how to use the machines safely and correctly to do this project properly. Some challenges in this assignment are that I might not be able to know how to do some of the cutting and I might find it difficult.
Inspire:
To get an idea of what I was trying to make, I took a look at my friend’s tables that they built last semester. I wanted my table to look similar to his, so I drew a similar table for my sketch. Looking at the other tables helped me a lot in getting to know what kind of table I wanted to make.
Interpolate:
After all the tables that I have seen, I realized that I wanted to make mine look similar to theirs, but also unique. I did that by adding a piece of glass on top of my table, so I can display items under it. I drew my design on my paper, and I liked how it looked so I went with that table.
Imagine:
In started by getting inspiration from my friend’s tables, then made it into a unique table that I imagined, and I drew it on a piece of paper. I just sketched out what I imagined in my head, and in the end, I liked how the table looked.
Inspect:
Once I finished drawing everything and writing down how much everything costs, I double checked everything. I made sure I calculated the cost of the table right, and just went over everything and made sure I had not made any mistakes. After I checked everything and made sure everything was good, I handed everything into my teacher.
