My First Vision Board

My vision board reflects my goals for the next three years in high school, focusing on health, education, relationships, and happiness. For health, I included words like “Be active”, Limit screen time, and prioritize sleep to emphasize regular exercise, and sufficient sleep. In education, I added images of SFU and a chiropractor to show my academic aspirations and college plans. For relationships, I used images of family gatherings and group activities, along with words like “Family and Friends” to highlight the importance of strong social bonds and meeting new people. Finally, I highlighted my hobbies, such as playing basketball, and listening to music to remind me to enjoy activities that brig me joy.

Reflection 1 – My Goals for This Year

1. Family and Friends:

Next Month: I will schedule at least two hangouts with my family, like movie night or a picnic at the park.

This Semester: I will go out with my friends at least twice a week to strengthen our connections if i’m luckily free.

By Grade 10: I aim to organize a special celebration for a family member’s birthday, showing my care and appreciation for them.

Explanation: These goals are important because keeping strong relationships with family and friends is important for a support system. It brings joy, support, and a sense of belonging to my life.

2) Education:

Next Month: I will start a consistent study routine, keeping at least 3 hour each day to review and complete assignments.

This Semester: I aim to get a proficient in all my subjects by consistently looking for help when needed and actively participating in class.

By Grade 10: I will have completed at least one extracurricular I am passionate about, showing my dedication.

Explanation: These goals are needed because they will help me develop a strong foundation of knowledge and skills, which is important for future personal growth.

3) Health:

Next Month: I will participate in physical activity for at least 30 minutes every day, like jogging, yoga, or playing a sport.

This Semester: I aim to maintain a balanced diet by adding more fruits and vegetables into my meals, and limiting sugary snacks for weekends only.

By Grade 10: I will be able to run a 3k race in under 30 minutes, showing a significant improvement in my fitness.

Explanation: These goals are important because being physically active and maintaining a balanced diet will improve my energy levels, focus, and overall quality of life.
