The image on the left is the house I created in ICT 9’s 3d modelling unit based off of the house in the image on the right. For this project, we had to design a house in SketchUp that includes a current architectural design trend with at least one green aspect. I’m really proud of this project because it took me so long to do and after facing many challenges along the way, I’m really happy with the end result. I ran into many problems of the way, the most frequent ones being entire walls getting deleted when I try to get rid of a random line going through a different wall, or the app having to load approximately every 10 minutes which gets annoying real fast. If I were to do this project again, I would spent a lot less time worrying about the smaller details of the house and get the main things down first before focusing on the smaller ones. This would’ve cut down on the time it took to make the house and might’ve even made it look better because near the end, since I spent so much time on the small details, I was running out of time and sort of rushed through the last bit. I also think I could’ve added some more components on the outside and inside of the house.
