Using the Creative Fluency

The project I used creative fluency in was from my English class where we were required to write a descriptive paragraph. The paragraph needed to include similes, metaphors, and sections that referred to our five senses (smell, taste, touch, sight, and hearing). I decided to write my paragraph on a person trying to find their way home during a rainstorm since I thought being in the rain would be the easiest thing for me to visualize. I took ideas and inspiration from my imagination and my own experience of being outside during a rainy day, especially those where I was stuck outside playing soccer and wishing for the game to be over as soon as possible. I ended up coming up with a scenario where a person was outside when a rainstorm started and there’s no shelter nearby so they have to find a way home as quickly as possible. After writing the rough draft, I reviewed the criteria to see if I had missed anything before I wrote the good copy and made a few small changes to make everything fit better with the criteria. After writing the good copy and handing it in, I got it back about a week later and ended up getting a 5/5 on it which I was happy about.
