Using the Creative Fluency

My project was for Bus Tech 9. The assignment was to create an infographic, to represent a consumer (myself,) and explains to a would-be advertiser, the interests and spending habits of the subject. This is so the advertisers can easily, target the consumer.

Identify

I used the criteria and instructions of the assignment to identify what needed to be done. Doing so helped me create a rough plan in my head of what needed to be done, and when. During this same process, I also understood that this assignment would come with its own set of challenges. Specifically, I had to make sure to stay on task, which has been a long time struggle of mine.

Inspire

When I first read through the criteria of this assignment, I immediately had a loose idea of what I wanted to do. I knew I wanted to base the poster around a cartoon, and I knew I wanted to create something without an obnoxiously loud colour scheme.

Interpolate

While completing this assignment, I was never really inspired by the examples. Though I used a few basic aspects found in the example, my inspiration mainly came from within. I based the infographic around a cartoon of myself I created and continued on from there.

ImagineĀ

As I touched on in Inspire, I had a loose plan of what I wanted to do. After I had finished the cartoon, I didn’t really have a firm plan. I more or less made it up as I went along.

Inspect

Due to Bus Tech 9, being my favourite course, I made sure I followed the criteria to the best of my ability. I created a checklist to be sure I followed all instructions. In the end, this was worth it, as I did very well on the assignment.
