What’s my assignment?
My gym assignment was to learn how to juggle in just a week. Then, reflect on it and see if I tried to my best ability.
Identify:
After our teacher provided a link on how to juggle, we spent our free time in class and at home trying to mask the difficult task on how to juggle. Since I don’t give up easily, I wanted to go further than meeting expectations, so I practiced for long periods of time and I made sure I wasn’t slaking off the next day and I started at the same time. Although, some days I’d end earlier than the previous one.
Inspire:
I took inspiration for juggling through, lots of YouTube videos, my classmates, friends and getting my family to try it out as well. My family were probably the most supportive when I felt I couldn’t manage the assignment.
Interpolate:
This assignment made me think of both the positive and negative,
Positive –
You’ll be able to show you’ve learned something new,
Feel great after accomplishing it,
You can juggle with basically anything,
And you can help teach someone else.
Negative-
Takes a lot of time,
Effort,
Skill,
And you need to be open minded.
However, after all the hard work and training, I felt I did my best.
Image:
Imagination was key, because when you fail you must try, try again. Because of this I failed for most my learning time, but once I formed a proficiency, I wouldn’t stop and I felt I was drawn towards success, I wanted to manage this new skill and make myself proud.
Inspect:
When reflecting from when I first started, I noticed I had come a long way. I practiced for long hours, kept an open mind set, I didn’t use my free time for watching television like most days and I stayed on task till my arms got tired. I know now that no matter how rough somethings may seem it all gets better with time.
