I wrote this in socials class about the Canadian deadlock after watching a movie about the deadlock.

In the movie the Tories and Blue worked together while the Grits and Rouge worked against the Tories and Blues. The Tories led by the would be Prime Minister MacDonald, Blue was lead by Cartier, Grits was lead by Brown and Rouge was lead by Dorion. The movements were unable to be made for the country because of the political deadlock unless someone from the other group agreed with the other side which was very unlikely but Mr. MacDonald was able to get the leader of the Grits on his side and winning the vote and election for prime minister. Other small details include Mr. Macdonald’s first wife dying and the marriage of his new wife. The main goal for MacDonald was to gain power to prepare the nation in case of a attack from America and with Brown it was the same but lead a different way.

I am proud of this assignment because I took an entire block and wrote a long paragraph and got a good grade. Plus it was about something that interested me, I enjoy learning about the history of how Canada came to be, because its where we live.
