My life as an online student:

My life at home trying to do everything has been HARD more because there are somethings that are much more helpful at school.

WHAT DID IT LOOK LIKE🤷‍♂️:

At first when I heard the news, I was actually kind of happy, because I thought ” Okay I am going to have an extra month of spring break”  But it did not end like that. I thought that it was actually pretty easy at first because the teachers were getting used to it and I already kind of knew the platform (Teams), so I was in my relaxing zone✌. But after a couple a weeks things started to get harder, because as I said there are some topics that are really hard to understand, because you kind of need to be there with a teacher. And one word I asked every teacher was definitely “Why” because in class you can kind of get the understanding of it, because the teacher writes it on the board and they talk to you everyday, but here at home as a student is hard.

HOW HAS MY LIFE CHANGED!!

My routine has definitely changed a lot, because normally I would wake up at around 8:30 am and get ready to go to school and when I come back I do my homework and take some time to relax😎, but now I wake up at 9:00 to 9:30 am and I have breakfast and I actually start doing my homework at around 10:30 to 11:00 and I probably stay at the office for around 7 to 8 hours a day, but at the same time I a have Friday off almost every week. But then I get out, eat and then take some time off.As I said my working space is in the office at my house and I study with my brother, so sometimes it can be disturbing, but most of the times is great to be sharing a space with him, because he can help me and I can help him, even though he is not like a teacher, he can help sometimes.

I have definitely had some hard and some successful and some difficult assignments and the difficult ones are usually the topic I need the most help in from teachers for example: We had to do a a project on organelles for Science where we had to draw and explain what each one of them meant and I say it was really hard, because sometimes google gives explanations, that for someone like me that is from another country is really hard to understand. But I have also had some VERY SUCCESSFUL projects: for example when we did a Spanish project on vocabulary and grammar, and we had to make an audio of us talking and answering some questions and I got a 35/35 and it made me VERY HAPPY!!!

This has definitely helped me in some ways, because now that I am spending more time on the computer and online, I can kind of see things in a different perspective. Because not all my questions are answered I have to search things up and now I can see when the website is safe or not.

CORE COMPETENCY!!!!!!!!!!!!! 

As a student can get very frustrating not being able to ask every question. At the beginning it was really hard because I did not know when was the right time to ask questions but after a couple of weeks I think I have definitely improved. I have done a lot of communication, because as I said we as students do not get all our questions answered. So I try to help others by asking questions and giving my opinion.
