I was a part of the Grade 11 Trivia team, where I contributed ideas for organizing the event, helped sign up participants and was a table questioner. For planning the event, I shared my thoughts on what I imagined the event would look like and some characteristics and factors that the event depended on. For preparations, I helped sign up participants during two lunches. On the day of, I helped set up the library and was a table questioner for two students in the library at the time who wanted to take part in the event because the group I was scheduled with did not show up. Since I had two people, I switched my questioning system by asking the questions to both people so they could guess each other’s answers. I asked more difficult and interesting questions so I could incite further conversation between the friends after the event was done. The event was a great time and I am happy that I put myself in a more uncomfortable position as a table questioner to gain valuable experience.
