My First Vision Board

Hello there, and welcome to the explanation of my first vision board. Here, I will explain what these images above mean, and why I aspire for them.

In the top-left corner, to keep up my health, I will engage in weightlifitng and playing volleyball of both the indoor and outdoor kind. The volleyball also doubles as keeping up with the relationship aspect, for I will be building stronger bonds with my teammates and opponents in the sport.

In the top-right corner, there are images of writing and reading. These are representative of my goals and hobbies of writing and reading books. These are good for my mental health, and they also contribute towards me being a more well-rounded individual.

In the bottom-right corner, there is the representing images of my (hopefully) eventual graduation. Furthermore, I would like to study Law, and in the bottom of the vision board, there are my dream university and law school, UBC and Peter A. Allard (UBC Law).

In the bottom left and left, are ways I can maintain my relationships with other people. I am capable of doing so within social and school-work environments. All My hobbies, such as reading, writing, and volleyball, as well as my social life all contibute to my happiness, all of these I am grateful for.

That concludes my final post for the year, thank you for reading, and I hope you have a good summer!

Reflection 1 – My Goals for this year

Goals for the 2022-2023 School Year

I have many goals, some beyond human understanding. Here are a few of the comprehendible ones

cffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffff

Goals for Friends and Family

1) I would like to meet and know the names of 5 new people. So far I know  names of 2. This is a goal for me because I have applied outside of my catchment and I am a little unfamiliar with the general student body. It would be nice to eventually get to know more people

2) I have a goal to become friends with said people. One does not just simply say “Okay we’re friends now,” it happens naturally and will come when you get to know the person more. Current progress so far is none, I think.

3) I am also trying to help my brother who is a future Pinetree student get a head-start. I will be a pioneer for my family, and I will know that I have accomplished this goal when he can come to this school comfortably.

Goals for Education

1) I would like to hand in all my assignments on time. Last year, I was rock solid on that goal, and now I hope to continue that goal. This is measurable simply by asking myself if I have missed or turned in any late assignments. I will continue this through until the end of my school years.

2) I would like to get straight A’s. Yes, this is a very generic goal, but it is a goal that I am quite intent on getting. Middle school teachers are very easy graders and Highschool is where your grades are really going to count, so it would be good to start a habit of working hard for good grades

3) Another goal I have is to join a club. I hope to join the Debate Club, whenever that will come. It will be a great experience for me, and accomplishment will come when I join a club.

Goals for Health

1) I want to make sure I play at least seven hours of volleyball a week. Not only will it be good practice for the sport but it will also serve as my cardiovascular exercise for the week too.

2) I have a goal to make sure to lift weights at least 5 times a week, for the next month. I have a home gym so I have no excuse as to not do it. I have had this goal over the summer, so I will try to continue it through the school year as well.

3) Another goal I have is to make sure I eat at least 125 grams of protein a day, for the whole semester. I can track it by logging all the foods I eat (Egg whites are literally the cheat code to this).
