1. I agree with the opinion that the term “social justice warrior” is very outdated, and I have never heard it used, but I agree that hearing the word conjures up images of people who are very opinionated and must always be right with their thoughts and ideas, and they are always right with those beliefs.

2. I disagree with the idea that we already receive and understand social justice information online or through social media. Because we only see the most talked about incidents and spread awareness for a month before moving on to the next instead of understanding that there are always things going on and happening even when they aren’t brought to light.

3. I liked how in this activity, if you wanted to speak, you had to stand up and speak up or you wouldn’t get a turn, and I liked how it showed how one person saying something influenced another person to stand up and express their thoughts. And how respectfully we could all discuss such a diverse topic without getting into an argument.

4. I believe that everyone should be put in the middle of this activity, even if they have nothing to say. Being in the center of the circle makes the discussion more intense and involved, and it makes it easier for people who aren’t the most talkative to speak up because you can just focus on the five people in front of you rather than the people on the outside.

5. In question seven, we discuss why we believe everyone wants their voice to be heard, and I particularly liked the point made about everyone believing their opinion is the best, everyone believing what they have to say is the most important, and this is very true even if we are all respectful it’s just an unconscious thought, we all have.
