My plan for Screen time:

Health:

  • During the week I will spend around 1 hour playing volleyball outside with friends, if the weather is appropriate.
  • 2 examples of how I’ll take care of my health: I’ll try to eat healthier, cut down sugary things and replace it with healthier alternatives, and I’ll try to go out for walks with friends around my neighborhood once a week.

Education:

  • I will spend 2 hours on my education and doing homework per week.
  • 2 examples of how I’ll take care of my education: I could do some extra homework if I’m struggling in any subjects or anything. I could also study for any upcoming tests ahead of time if I have one.

Social Bonds: I will spend 2 hours on social bonds during the week.

  • I will call a friend and just chat with them for a while. I will also go to a close friends house and hangout.

School:

I will turn my phones Wi-Fi off so I don’t get any notifications from any apps, I will also put my phone away in my locker or backpack for the whole day, so I’m not distracted by it.

Home:

I could divide the time I use on my electronics throughout the whole day, so I spend 30 mins on my phone, then spend 30 mins doing something productive, and so on. I could also turn off my electronics or turn the house Wi-Fi off at 9 or 10 pm.

 

Reflection 1 – My goals for this year

  • My first goal for family and friends is that I want to spend more time with my family during the school year, I had a lot of time to spend with my family during the summer because they weren’t as busy all the time. But I will try to spend as much time with them as I can mostly on weekends and when they get home from work.
  • My second goals for family and friends is that I want to spend more time with my outside of school friends, I would always go to their house during the summer since none of us had school, but now we barely even call each other. So I’ll try to plan days where we can go to places like malls, parks, or each others houses to hangout.
  • My third goal for family and friends is that I want to become more closer with the people in my classes and during my time in pine tree. I have a few friends in some classes, but there are some classes where I haven’t talked to a single person yet. So my goal is to ad least become closer with 1 person from each class and in my future classes as well.

Education:

  • My first goal for education is that I want to upgrade my skills in math with decimals and exponents because we didn’t go over these topics that much in my grade 8 year, we mainly focused on other topics, and we’ll probobaly go over decimals or exponents in grade 9 math.

  • urrently my vocabulary isn’t the best, so I want to try and improve on it by using formal words, or more academical words in my essays or paragraphs.
  • My third goal for education is to not procrastinate as often. I always end up doin
    g my assignments last minute because I never stay on task at home, and go watch tv or go on my phone instead of actually doing homework. So this year I’m planning on trying to stay focused on 1 thing before doing something else and finishing my assignment earlier.

Health:

  • My first goal for health is that I want to be able to communicate to my team mates 177,357 Healthy Heart Stock Photos, Pictures & Royalty-Free Images - iStockwhile being on a team in P.E, I usually don’t communicate with my team mates, and I end up not cooperating with them, so I’ll try to talk to them and be part of the team.
  • My second goal for health is that I will try to participate in P.E activities instead of just standing around.
  • My third goal for health will be that I want to be physically active for at least 20 minutes everyday, so I can run 2-3 laps around a field without stopping to take breaks in-between by grade 10.
