vision board!

vision board..

Reflection..

This is my vision board, it has everything I currently have, something I want, and somethings I will want to see in the future.

Starting with health, on my vision board I put up pictures of sleep, exercise, and meditation. I’m aware how basic this is but i really do wish to do these in the future. I sleep of course, I just wish i was able to nap. My body doesn’t let me take naps, even when I’m ill, so i hope ill learn to take naps because being sick would be less painful and i just like the feeling of getting up under an abnormal amount of blankets. For exercise, I don’t do much of that, I hope to change that in the future. A few muscles on me would look pretty cool and there are health benefits to exercising. The final image, meditation. I don’t sit down on a pillow with yoga mats and a pretty view, I usually just close my eyes when ever I feel calm. For example, in the shower, I often close my eyes and I like to feel the hot water hits my back, or sometimes when I’m outside, I close my eyes and feel the wind blowing on my face. I’m not sure if this counts as meditation but I like to feel how the wind blows my hair and how hot shower water hits my skin.

For my education, I plan to go to college and/or university. That’s the reason why I put up a picture of SFU, I don’t want to go to SFU specifically, I just want to go somewhere that offers different types of courses. The reason for that is because I can’t decide which profession to pursue in the future. I put up a picture of a room full of clothes and people working on them. One of the jobs I’m considering is fashion design so that is why that photo is in there. I put a picture of money in there too because I want to be wealthy enough to do what ever I want and donate it. It might be a stretch, becoming rich isn’t easy but it’s something I wish for in my future. I also added a picture of an A+ because I would like to aim for that grade now and for the future.

In a relationship, either it being friends, family, or partners, I would love to spend my time bonding over video games or going out late at nights. I really enjoy playing video games with people I like because I feel close to them even when we are apart. Video games are a way to enjoy someone’s company when you aren’t with them, it might seem weird but it really makes me happy. That is why I put a Minecraft picture in there. As for going out late at nights, I put a picture of people walking in the street and night. I  don’t go out when it’s dark often, but when I do, it’s really fun. The tiredness from everyone makes everything hilarious and I just love the vibe of cold dark air with my friends. I would like to go outside when it’s dark more often in my future. For the last picture on this topic, I put a picture of two bears hugging because I like hugging people, not too much like my mom, she’s given me so many it’s gotten to the point where I don’t like it. Ignoring that fact, I like to be close with people.

Lastly, happiness. I don’t have many interests but i enjoy drawing. I put a picture of a cat I drew during art class because I was proud of it. I used a graph so it really wasn’t difficult. I have been drawing for as long as i can remember, I’m not great at it but that isn’t the point. I like drawing. I put up a picture of something from space because the idea of space amazes me. It confuses me, so I am drawn to it. I don’t study stars, planets or galaxies, I’m just so confused at the concept of there being no end to space. It really peaks my interest when I hear a theory or something about space. I put up a photo of travelling because I don’t travel often, I would like to in the future. I would like to visit so many places. I put a picture of my cat in my vision board because I really love cats and my cat especially. She’s so cute and annoying at the same time but I love her. I wish to have more cats in the future, not too many, just 1 or 2 would be nice. I put up a picture of a room with a beautiful view of the city. That is the kind of apartment I want, I just like planning out my future room in my head.

That was a lot of writing, I’m sorry for that, I got carried away. Anyways, that’s my reflection.

My Plan for Screen Time

Health:

I will work on my health 1 hour a day by doing exercise in the gym (so 5-7 hours a week). I can also work on my health by adding more vegetables to my meals. So 5-7 hour exercise and more vegetables/fruits in my meals.

 

Education:

I do homework everyday after school which takes around an hour. If I’m studying it will take maybe 2. I will study at least 8 hours a week. I will put my studies as my first priority and turn on music to help me focus, along with removing all distractions. To conclude, I always study after school and remove distractions.

 

Social Bonds:

I hang out with my friends everyday at school during lunch but I won’t count that, but I will count the time I spend studying with my friends. I can’t really go out with my friends for a long time because I live far and have to be home before the sunset. So It’s maybe around 3-5 hours a week to hang out with my friends outside of school. I also text them when I’m home about homework and just about anything, it’s almost like they are with me, but it’s over a phone. So to sum it all up, I hang out with friends to study and I text them over phone.

 

 

Stopping Rules.

School:

Rule 1, I will turn off my phone when we don’t need it, I will only use it if the teacher says we are allowed. Rule 2, i will keep my phone in my bag instead of my pocket or on my desk so I don’t get alerted if I get a notification.

 

Home:

Rule 1, I will spend more time with the people living with me so that I’m distracted and away from my phone. Rule 2, I will do what I like most, which is drawing, reading, and other fun stuff (only use the phone for music).

Reflection 1- My Goals For This Year

My short term goals! Exercise more, improve grades, and try to be more social!

How will I reach these goals? Well….

If I want to exercise more I have to get motivated! So I have to find something to motivate me first.. I’m not sure what that motivation is yet but it will come to me! Such as losing weight or improving my immune system and my health! (Physical and mental) Exercise usually makes me sleepy so maybe I can fall asleep easily and not take 20 minutes to get out of bed!

To improve my grades I will go to my teachers for help and examples! Especially for Math since it’s not really my specialty, Math is incredibly hard for me if I don’t ask for help and fully understand.

Lastly, being more social. This goal will be hard since I usually keep to myself and my friend groups, I’m not very good at reaching out and making new friends, so this year I’m planning on trying to be more confident and make more friends! Last year I attended a school none of my friends were in and my shy-ness really didn’t help so I was practically alone for most of the year. I never want that to happen again!
