Goals help me stay focused on what I need to accomplish. By the end of this course, and along with these goals, solutions are also helpful to achieve them. I hope to acquire or improve specific skills/knowledge such as effective communication to enhance verbal and written communication skills and better expression of ideas and problem solving skills to develop strategies quickly for complex problems. These skills are important because they will not only help me academically, but also prepare me for real world challenges and these skills are crucial for success. I plan to apply what I learn in this course to various real world situations either academic or career wise and face them with no obstacles. I am most likely pursuing a career in business and with my communication skills, I intend to improve my presentation skills, I don’t have a problem with talking in-front of others in-fact I love it, what I struggle is speaking because I tend to stumble upon my words and overthink on what to specifically say, I’m better at writing or typing out my thoughts and ideas. For example, if I need to present a business proposal, I will apply communication strategies to engage my audience and convey my ideas clearly, being able to communicate effectively will be helpful. I expect this course to contribute to my personal growth in several ways such as improving time management. I want stay disciplined in sticking to my schedule and limit distractions such as social media or entertainment when it comes to time management. I also hope to get more closer with people in leadership and build genuine connections. Lastly to reach these goals, challenges will be in the way but solutions such as prioritizing tasks based on their importance and urgency and allocating my time accordingly will be beneficial. In conclusion, this course is a valuable opportunity for me in academic, career and personal growth by setting clear goals, applying knowledge strategically, embracing teamwork, and proactively address challenges along the way. I intend to maximize my learning experience and seek future success.
