Hey! This is my first lab and I made spicy rice cake a.k.a. Tteokbokki. It’s a Korean food.

The picture below is the final result of my dish! There were more Korean fish cakes than I thought.

After I made the sauce and put all the ingredients in same pot and boiling them.

If I had another chance to make this dish, I would use regular flour rather than rice flour. I made my rice cake with rice flour , and it was so soft and very sticky. Also when I boiled all the ingredients in one pot, the rice cake stuck to the bottom of the pan and I couldn’t recognize its form. It looked like melted cheese. And I would put less fishcakes because it was full of them.

So for tips,

  1. Use Regular wheat flour then Rice flour.
  2. Use less fishcake.

By the way, the sauce was very good. It tasted like what my mom made and what they sell in restaurants!
