I was an outside volunteer for this event. My job as assigned by the point leaders was to welcome and assist parents to their desired classrooms. For this event I feel that I went above and beyond, as I not only showed them the way but answered their many questions on how things work in our school. Many parents seems thankful and even sought me out multiple times. I was also a problem solver, as some teachers were way,many parents were upset. I questioned around and found out the reasons and relayed it to them. This may not seem like something big, but they seemed less annoyed with an explanation.
