The Terry Fox Run was my event for September. I aided in setting up the bands various check points. I had to bring over their equipment, and show them where they would be positioned. I helped set up the snack and drink tables, as well as handing them out. After that, it was time to start tidying up. I collected the garbage that many students had left on the ground, and had to sort it all out at the end as well. We stayed behind well after everyone to make sure the track was clean.Another part of this event was the buletin board we managed as a group. Barfin, Omar, and I were a group for the last day. We discovered in our lunch period that many people were writing inappropriate things on the stickers. We brought this up with teachers, and admin who resolved the problem by discontinuing it. It was unfortunate what happened, but we as leadership students were responsible for keeping an eye out for things like this.
