Both Ahmad and I use the same type of bag, and carry some of the same items. We both carry laptops and water bottles, which are necessary for school and extra-curricular activities like basketball for him, and going to the gym for me. The items that differentiate from each other include basketball shoes and a change of clothes. Even though we both play sports outside of school, his practices are in the morning which means he would need to take these items with him everyday while I have a separate bag for the things I need. I chose this person’s post because we have both similarities and differences in the contents of our bags which makes it easy for me to connect it to my own.
He demonstrated his learning on this topic by creating a clear and descriptive summary of the contents of his bag and why he needs each item. Our assignments are differentiated by the formatting of the answers and the choice of the mandatory and optional questions. I chose to list the items in my bag first, then write the description of my need for these items, while he wrote separate paragraphs for each item. One way our assignments are similar are the way we answered the questions. We both answered the questions in paragraph form with each paragraph containing answers for each item. His presentation of this assignment has changed my perspective because it allowed me to see the pros and cons of each format, which will help me in completing assignments in the future.
