I believe that I have been able to thoroughly complete my tasks during the second half of this semester. One of my biggest achievements is accomplishing my goal. Although I do enjoy being a leader, learning to be a better follower was a growing experience. Especially Spring Carnival, I was a helpful peer to those that were in charge. At times, I would still provide my own input and perspective on problem solving situations. An example of this would be trying to get the energy level higher for the dunk tank. Offering some free shots to the crowd, allowed everyone to want to participate more; in addition, using our projecting voices to reach to the back of the crowd. It was not my original idea, but adding caution tape to block off the areas we wanted to keep students away from was a very good idea. I helped set up the caution tape, being a runner for Ms. Rioux, setting up chairs and tables, crowd management, and more! Spirit week was a lot less work, but I was still able to advertise the spirit week prompts on my personal Instagram and word-of-mouth.

I understand that I have had quite a few hiccups over the second half of the semester–which I am NOT very proud of–but I still believe that my personal skills have grown even further than before. I want to hold myself responsible for my lack of action at times, but I want to acknowledge my growth and experiences I’ve had with Leadership as a whole. I believe I deserve an A (90-92) I wanted to strive for an A+ (95 or higher) but I think that I still have room to improve. This improvement will carry out into my future, with post secondary and my career!

Thank you for an amazing experience that I can look back on fondly!
