Throughout this first semester, I began to get into the habit of considering the core competencies more regularly as I go through leadership. Academically, I believe that I am doing quite well on the assignments and that I fully understand the objectives of each of them. However, I realize that there are social aspects to leadership that I need to still work on. There are social goals that I hope to work on, and I know that if I put my mind to them, I will be able to achieve them. 

The goals I will be working on till the final report card are: 

• Showing more initiative for events
  • Volunteering to become a point leader 

• Widening my relationships with others in leadership
  • Collaborating with people I usually don’t work with 
  • Familiarizing myself with people to become aware of their personal strengths 

• Micromanaging less 
• Improving my confidence level 

All of these goals apply to leadership as well as my personal life outside of Pinetree. I hope to achieve these goals by really involving myself more in Leadership through multiple events and taking the time to reflect after each event to see what I could do better to achieve my goal.
